R4bb1t
to whomever cares : i have been banned from earning credits, i read enough post to see nobody will believe i did nothing wrong, so i will just point out that what i did 'wrong' was understandable and my ban should be lifted. first ban , one day ban ,was me answering the screams of my fallen wife, i was in fire fight , having to take my wife to the ER ,i cycled through 3 games AFK, i really think you take this game way to serous is you feel i need to end a game before responding to real life problems like a screaming wife or crying baby . second ban : now i have been banned for what feels like forever , and the day it happened (thanksgiving), i had friends over , we had four players on one xbox and in matchmaking , my 8 years was one of the players , combine her lack of real game play with one game where everyone except me left for the game while in the TU beta , on frak'n game !!!! i mean i have been playing Halo for 10 years , hundreds of dollars spent and a youth wasted and i can't have one game where my teen daughter , her friend and my 8yo run off to thanksgiving dinner !!!! so here are two suggestions 1) MAKE you Rules KNOWN inside the game interface ! dont expect everyone to log into you pretentious 'ultramature' sight to learn how to play a game your way , my children would not have been allowed on your sight , and before my first ban i had no reason to look . 2) and have ban appeals in the game interface and have a human double check these ban appeals. so as genius programmers i expected better, and i would have foreseen these issues . it would be nice to not be treated like a criminal for having a life outside of Halo please lift my ban. <p class="post-actions" id="ctl00_mainContent_postRepeater1_ctl01_ctl00_postControl_skin_postactionsDiv" style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 110px; padding-top: 2px; padding-right: 0px; padding-bottom: 2px; padding-left: 0px; vertical-align: middle; clear: both; height: 26px; width: 555px; ">
R4bb1t
but my point is this, back then i was not properly informed that leaving my xbox on in a FF game would coast me through several games . it is only through this experience that i know to hit the power button then and i now know that on turkey day i should have left the game when all my guess left . my apologies for what i did , and as ignorance of the rules does not excuse breaking them. however signs must be posted for no parking before tickets can be issued etc.. .a simple message in the load area to turn off or end game in the right situation would not was my time or ruin my gaming experience

Kurt S-501
If this was meant for 343 industries, then you have the wrong site. This just a community forum, not official. 343 industries' official forum is halo waypoint.
SGT Warchild
Yeah I'm sorry to hear that, I want the message aswell, and on a seperate note I would like for 343 to figure out why, when I started at the reach menu my game started all over, no armor, no lvls cept last save, and now I don't know why but it says offline credits have been reached, and my warrant officer shall be that forever, I've heard of resets, due to cheating, and I did do this, but I only did it once or twice, and stopped after thinking on it,but the problem I had was a totaly different error, and as for now I can't get online to try to reset my ranking ups due to slow internet
SuperIntendant
First off why not just turn off your xbox when you went to the ER, secondly why did you care about being banned from a video game for ONE DAY when your wife is in the ER? Also your ban is only a week long, if you really have been playing the game since your youth then missing it for a week shouldn't be that bad. Sorry if this came out a bit harsh but you make it sound like your life is about to end because you can't play Reach for eight days.

I have stated that numerous times in this forum and will continue to so. You again are correct about there being no legitimate, human and reasonably responsive system to appeal a failed ban system. I personally could care less if a player quits a game, yeah it is frustrating, but it happens for so many reasons so I don't get all wrapped up about it. AFKer's are more of a problem in any game type, but again...........! Point is it is unfair, it is out there, everyone knows it is there, you do get warned you just weren't there to see it. It should be based on your cumulative game history instead of a brief period. I feel for you, but I am not the "Man". Pay more attention in the future. Oh and Caboose, how about you shut your 360 off for 8 days! Turn your XBOX off when heading to the ER, LMFAO! WHo are you to tell another man or woman about his family? Push off!

Who are you to tell another man or woman about his family? Push off! I don't go on for eight day periods all the time, last year I wasn't on for 8 months in a row... eight days is not a long time. As I said, sorry if I came off as harsh. My point in that post was that what was the point in complaining about a ban that will be over in 3 days? FIREN4
Man, sorry about your ban. I know, I know. I was "horrifyingly" banned for a whole month on another xbox of mine. Then, two weeks. But now, at least the awesome and understanding 343 Industries will save us from banning. Hoorah!!!
SuperIntendant
I do wish that it would just kick you if you are AFKing though...
