What we want most...(a farewell)

In life we all strive for something, whether it is fame, fortune, or the pursuit of happiness. Who knows.

 

This past weekend, I discovered even more what I want most, and it sunk in:

1. To server my God better.
   
2. To be with my girlfriend for as long as I live.
   

Number two, let me explain a bit. We are planning on getting married, but living in Germany and her in Indiana makes things hard.

This past weekend I got to spend time with her, for the first time, in person. We knew from the moment we laid eyes on each other at the airport that it was real, wasn't weird, and was something that would last a lifetime. We want to get married.

 

But in order for things to happen, there are a few prerequisites that need to be done first.

 

There are a few things that I need to focus on and work on so I can make these things happen. And as much as I enjoy this amazing Halo community here at 343i, I must take a break. I need to focus on these things. I will stop by at times. But not often.

 

This is not "goodbye", it's simply " see ya round' ".

This is without doubt the greatest gaming forum I have ever been a part of.
