Halo 4 driving

Third person driving is fine to me. I like the way, you can see better. That's why in Halo: CEA the warthog was so epic and awesome because it had a balance of everything. Third person= driver. First person= passenger. Turret= third person. Besides, it get's boring not seeing your own character.

Nobody likes a bad driver, I could see 1st person driving if you were alone in the vehicle (transition for passengers might be a little weird though), then again nobody likes a bad driver

You guys don't do racing games do you? I think it should be switchable and I personaliy am a better driver in 1st. If you don't like it, stay out of it. And Halo needs to move forward without destroying itself. This would not alter gameplay that much and more people would be satisfyed with the game. If this was in REACH, I would play for once. This also shows more of the interior and will let you connect better with the game. (That connection is why the Chief doesn't say much or show his face, it adds to it. And so will this.) Like I said, if you don't lik 1st person, stay out of it.

Please no first person driving because if you added that it would feel like battlefield, not the great franchise of halo so please keep 3rd person driving.

Just because one game uses it, doesn't mean it shouldn't. If the core gameplay stays the same, it is all good. Adding in little touches like this don't change the entire game experience, and makes it better.

Thanks for the feedback but for those who say it is harder to drive or harder to dodge, i have no problem with either in bf3, and that once again it would be player preference on whatever you choose

How about this.

Press Right on the d-pad for first person view driving.

Press Left on the d-pad to go back to 3rd person view when driving.

Yay everyone is happy now!

The same goes with turrets and passengers seats.

The problem with this is that situation awareness is greatly reduced due to the limited view. I think it should stay 3rd person.

the power of options would make everyone happy, like something you could do in the game while pushing start and advanced options.

I agree with Flly because if changing it is through D-pad(or any other button) then there is a chance to accidentally switch it when you don't want to.
