The latest to receive this treatment is the cult SNES RPG EarthBound. Twitter user @koumepo has shared their attempt to craft their island in the style of one of EarthBound's early towns, like Onett, and the result is quite authentic. オネット風な島を一部紹介します#どうぶつの森 #AnimalCrossing #ACNH #NintendoSwitch pic.twitter.com/NLh4KZVHBn — 小梅64 (@koumepo) April 6, 2020 As you can see from the clip, the fan used real sprites from the game to achieve this effect, as well as donning a Ness-style outfit. @koumepo isn't the only fan to use New Horizons' terraforming tools in striking ways. Another Animal Crossing fan created an entire valley of waterfalls to serve as the path to their house. Yet another fan transformed their island into a tribute to Zelda: Link to the Past.
