343iBot Posted April 13, 2020 Report Share Posted April 13, 2020 Electronic Arts appears to be teasing something related to the Crysis series, after a long period where the franchise has laid dormant. The official Twitter account tweeted a message for the first time in years, suggesting an announcement is on the way. The tweet doesn't give many clues. It simply says "Receiving Data." But it's also the first new tweet from the account since December 2016, so the message coming out of the blue seems likely to be hinting at something. RECEIVING DATA — Crysis (@Crysis) April 13, 2020 This could be indicating anything from a new Crysis game to a remaster. The last game, Crysis 3, was released in 2013 from developer Crytek. The company shut down some studios in 2015 amid financial troubles and most recently put out Hunt: Showdown in 2018.
