343iBot Posted May 11, 2020 Report Share Posted May 11, 2020 Elite Dangerous developer Frontier has rolled out its second beta for the Fleet Carriers update, set to come in June. The beta is now available across PC, PS4, and Xbox One, but as pointed out in the patch notes any progress made in the first beta won't carry to this one. The Fleet Carriers feature will be endgame content targeted at players who may have been exploring the galaxy for years now. It allows players with large fleets of ships to pack them into mega-ships and transport them through lightspeed to the farthest corners of the galaxy. If you haven't gotten far enough for your own carrier, you can arrange to hitch a ride with a friend who has their own. You can check out the full patch notes below. Frontier says that what happens in the beta stays in the beta so don't expect this beta progress to transfer to the full update in June.
