343iBot Posted May 27, 2020 Report Share Posted May 27, 2020 Doom Eternal on PC's Denuvo anti-cheat measure has now been removed in the latest patch for the game. Bethesda's latest update for the title, Patch 1.1, now allows Denuvo to be uninstalled without affecting your ability to play Doom Eternal as normal. This particular update likely comes as a result of the complaints leveled against the anti-cheat software when it was implemented in Patch 1. id Software announced the update going live on Twitter and also mentioned other fixes relating to crashes. Console owners aren't affected by this patch.
