eliawesome
There is a rumor that says that in windows 8 you will be able to play xbox360 games on your pc. Im not really sure about this because how can a normal pc dvd drive handle duallayer discs. Or will you be able to stream games from your xbox360 over to your pc or will you be able to download the games from some kind of online marketplace. Overall this is only a rumor but microsoft have annaounced that xboxlive is comming to windows 8 but it is only like a newer version of gamesforwindows that looks like xboxlive. And I think it is a little too late too make xbox360 games compattible in windows 8. It seems more like you will be able to play games for the next xbox on your pc with windows 8. What do you think?? iTz KeeFy
I think it means xbox users and pc users can play certain games together. So xbox live and windows live would be compatible, I could be wrong but that's what I gathered from the article.
eliawesome
I have just heard that the next xbox maybe not will use discs instead something more like a memory stick or something that would make it much more easier to make xbox games compattible on windows
iTz KeeFy
That would be awesome, we wouldn't have to worry about scratching discs.
AgentLoFi
Would be very cool and a very good chance that it could happen, my only problem would be if they made it a download only console, a memory stick would be fine since I like having a physical copy of my game specially if i'm paying $60 for it, but that's just my opinion. ExplosiveLamp
of course with console games comes the neccesity for a console-worthy graphics card. even if this were true (i'm kind of hoping it is) most people with normal desktop PC's or laptops probably wont get the same experience as if they just played it on the 360. Replay0925
I'm not nearly the PC gamer that I used to be, I have moved over to mostly console games now, but this would be an interesting twist that could bring me back to PC games! I'm interested to see how much of this rumor pans out.
eliawesome
Lets hope it is not a rumor. Actually this would make it easier for microsoft because then they dont need gamesforwindows because the xbox games is playable on pc as well wich means less work for them and more money for them.
