343iBot Posted June 9, 2020 Report Share Posted June 9, 2020 Although CD Projekt Red has delayed its upcoming showcase for Cyberpunk 2077 in respect for the Black Lives Matter movement, some new information on the game has come from an interview on German website GameStar's premium podcast. The information comes courtesy of Reddit user Moraez, who translated and paraphrased some of the most interesting points in the German interview. While Cyberpunk is the studio's first non-Witcher game, it's still likely to be structurally similar to CDPR's preceding games. However, in the interview with level designer Miles Tost and senior quest designer Philipp Weber, the devs said to expect the improvements in level design from Witcher 3 to be comparable to the improvements seen between Witcher 2 and 3. Some of the more annoying elements of The Witcher 3 thankfully won't be making a comeback--such as the abundance of question marks on the world map that marked loot and combat-based side tasks.
