343iBot Posted June 10, 2020 Report Share Posted June 10, 2020 Burnout Paradise is coming to Nintendo Switch on June 19, and there's a new gameplay trailer that shows off the port. According to publisher Electronic Arts, the port will run at 60 frames per second, and it will include all of the DLC that came out for Paradise over the years, including the extra environment of Big Surf Island. The Switch version of the game also includes the game's nine-player online multiplayer and traditional local play with one controller, as well as pinch-and-pull map controls. While Burnout Paradise first came out back in 2008, a remastered version of the game came out for its 10th anniversary in 2018, and that's the one coming to Switch. The price tag for the port is a bit steep, however: It's currently listed for $50. For comparison, the PC remaster is currently on sale for $5 on Origin. Though it's well over a decade old at this point, Burnout Paradise is generally considered one of the best games in its series. However, despite its success over the years, we have yet to see an official follow-up.
