InsaneBear
I am so sick of all these aa's threads such as...Heres my halo 4 aa idea or what aa's do we want! Why can't halo go back to more of a simple team based game. Seriously reach failed. I have played so many damn hours of halo to know a good halo game and reach is not. Halo 4 should follow more of a halo 2 style of play. I'm about to become some kind of counter strike pc gamer because pc games still know what makes games great. If halo 4 has aa's I will not buy it and I can say that honestly. Halo is an amazing game and you do not need to change the crap out of it to keep it fresh. Absolute Dog
I understand Insane. I am a team player, always have been. I have never been a big fan of Reach either and still have much more fun playing Halo 3 MM over Reach's. I believe, as you do, that Halo can get back to the roots of what made the game so good, so fun and truly competitive. The reason you see many topics about AA's, Reach weapons, etc. is because there has been no information offered to the community that sheds any light on what Halo 4 will be like. There are only some vague references to the engine, getting back to what made Halo good and some talk about John's character development. 343i. feels they have there reasons for not releasing any information which only leads to more speculation by the community. Time will tell whether we will end up with something that can provide hour upon hour of quality campaign play and a MM that allows for the competitive to compete away from the social player in some type of ranked environment. By the way, nice member pic! lol

RedStarRocket91
There's been talk of a beta sometime at the start of this year, noting concrete yet though. I'd prefer a more Halo 3 feel to Halo 2, actually. I know everyone loves the second game, but at the end of the day it was buggy as hell, the Battle Rifle was shamefully overpowered, and the third game did everything better, from movement and map scaling to weapon balance. I definitely agree with going back to a more skill-based style of play, though. Reach really falls down not only with the randomness of Bloom but also in the general lack of balance between weapons, grenades, and melee. We need a game that has very precise mechanics, so that nobody ever wins or loses a straight fight through bad luck or chance, only skill and tactics. Not so sure about Armor Abilities. The only ones I can think of that are really unbalanced are Armor Lock and Drop Shield, although Jetpack is irritating, too. There's really nothing wrong with Sprint, Evade, or Hologram - besides the fact that the latter is useless against anyone who's played for more than two minutes.
