343iBot Posted August 17, 2020 Report Share Posted August 17, 2020 Respawn has released the full patch notes for Apex Legends Season 6: Boosted, which starts soon. Season 6 doesn't implement in-game changes as big as Season 4 and Season 5 did, but there are some nice balancing adjustments for characters--especially those in the recon class. Starting in Season 6, all three recon characters (Pathfinder, Bloodhound, and Crypto) will be able to access survey beacons around the map to see where future circle closures will be. This ability was previously Pathfinder's unique passive, but now every recon character can use it. If done through his drone, Crypto can get the information instantly without having to take the time to jack into the beacon. "Giving all Recon legends access to survey beacons makes Pathfinder less unique, and obviously we don't love that," Respawn writes in the patch notes. "For now, we're giving our friendly robot a small buff to his ultimate cooldown when he uses a survey beacon, but in the future we will take another look at Pathfinder to see what else we could do to make him feel more unique."
