Halo 4 Predictions

I obviously read a lot of players wishes, wants and desires for what they "want" in Halo 4. This will be a thread for you to "predict" what will be in Halo 4. Please do not create debates or off topic posts. This is a chance to let go of your wants and give an honest prediction of what you think will be in Halo 4.

 

These will be the prediction parameters:

 

 

Campaign

 

1) Predict the story line of the Campaign.

 

2) Predict the enemy, or enemies that you will encounter.

 

3) Predict the human and/or non human friendlies, if any, you think will either fight along side the Master Chief.

 

4) Predict Cortana's type of break down and whether or not she survives.

 

5) Predict the outcome of the Halo 4 Campaign.

 

 

Match Making

 

1) Predict the weapons that will be available.

 

2) Predict the Armors that will be available.

 

3) Predict the ranking system that will be used.

 

4) Predict types of maps that we will fight on (Example: Urban, Jungle, Forest, Water, Space) and offer a brief description of each.

 

5) Predict the style of Firefight, if it continues, that will be available.

 

6) Predict the Forge environments (base maps), forge materials (structures, objects, environmental elements) and what game types will be able to be forged.

 

This thread will be archived randomly and each time new information is released. Lets see who has the right vision for Halo 4. You never know......I may even offer a reward!

Campaign

 

1) Predict the story line of the Campaign.

What chief did since halo 3, and obviously the future story

 

2) Predict the enemy, or enemies that you will encounter.

Elites, Flood, Grunts, some new species?

 

3) Predict the human and/or non human friendlies, if any, you think will either fight along side the Master Chief.

Sgt Johnson will somehow return, cortana,etc

 

4) Predict Cortana's type of break down and whether or not she survives.

She won't survive, chief will like, accidentally kill her or sumit.

 

5) Predict the outcome of the Halo 4 Campaign.

Chief survives (obviously) but, cortana and other key characters introduced in the h4 campaign die.

 

 

Match Making

 

1) Predict the weapons that will be available.

Usual weapons, possibly new added ones too which will be explained.

2) Predict the Armors that will be available.

....? New Armors or what?

 

3) Predict the ranking system that will be used.

1-50 Ranking system + Dedicated Servers = Win

 

4) Predict types of maps that we will fight on (Example: Urban, Jungle, Forest, Water, Space) and offer a brief description of each.

Hopefully some sort of fire maps, but, hopefully they bring classics back again.

 

5) Predict the style of Firefight, if it continues, that will be available.

Similar to halo reach firefight.

 

6) Predict the Forge environments (base maps), forge materials (structures, objects, environmental elements) and what game types will be able to be forged.

Forge doesn't bother me so i don't really care, Forge world 2.0?

Campaign

 

1) Predict the story line of the Campaign.

Something like a Halo 1-3 Storyline.

2) Predict the enemy, or enemies that you will encounter.

Forerunners.

3) Predict the human and/or non human friendlies, if any, you think will either fight along side the Master Chief.

Maybe Arbiter will be there, helping out Chief (2nd player in Campaign like Halo 3 had)

4) Predict Cortana's type of break down and whether or not she survives.

She will survive but will have lots of problems throughout the Campaign, maybe she meets Dr. Hashley and gets fixed?

5) Predict the outcome of the Halo 4 Campaign.

It will be very gorgeous and fun to play for the Classic Gamers that have played Halo 1-3, and have a wonderful ending with a outstanding plot.

 

Match Making

 

1) Predict the weapons that will be available.

Halo 3 Weapons, some Reach weapons and some new Forerunner weapons...

2) Predict the Armors that will be available.

A mix from Halo 3 and Reach armors, the Halo 3 Helmet Designs like Hayabusa and lots of Choices Reach had.

3) Predict the ranking system that will be used.

1-50 Ranking system FTW! Credits maybe for BUYING the armor after unlocking it.

4) Predict types of maps that we will fight on (Example: Urban, Jungle, Forest, Water, Space) and offer a brief description of each.

Some Halo 1 maps and new Forerunner maps that are not rip offs from the Campaign.

5) Predict the style of Firefight, if it continues, that will be available.

Floodfight, waves of Flood coming round after round trying to demolish you while you fight them off waiting for evac

6) Predict the Forge environments (base maps), forge materials (structures, objects, environmental elements) and what game types will be able to be forge.

I think new Forge pieces will come, more environmental and natural feeling, with some Forerunner items like Reach had, Weather effects and a more bigger budget than what Reach had. Gametypes: Infection, Invasion, Halo 3 Gametypes, etc. The usual gametypes and maybe some more that 343 will come up with.

1) MC lands a shield world installation and finds rumors of a cure for the flood.

 

2) Flood, covenant, sentinels, and I feel like a forerunner promethean.

 

3) I think some humans will crash land on the planet to give support (and die). But nobody previously know.

 

4) Cortanna wont break down but start to evolve using forerunner technology to change.

 

5) John destroys the planet, heading to the more information about the cure. Or hes captured by either the flood or the forerunners.

1) The BR will return in some form for atleast the beginning of the game. Some form of the sniper, rockets, shotgun, and tank will of course be there.

 

2) ODST, Mark VI, and EVA.

 

3) A competitive ranking system, not a copy of Halo2 or 3 and not a combined version.

 

4) I have no idea

 

5) Firefight will be against the flood and will have a casual and competitive mode.

 

6) There will be COLOR! But other than that no idea xP

1) Predict the story line of the Campaign.- master chief is trying to figure out his past,an through this he encounters the covinant , flood , forerunners/ precursors! I def think the gravemind will have to be killed! 

 

2) Predict the enemy, or enemies that you will encounter.- forerunners/precursors, flood, covinant, Yanme( green buggers) 

 

3) Predict the human and/or non human friendlies, if any, you think will either fight along side the Master Chief.- usnc smarter marines an odst, def master chiefs squad an maybe a human form of cortana!

 

4) Predict Cortana's type of break down and whether or not she survives. I say she dies midway leaving master chief an one or two survivors! Maybe from his squad!

 

5) Predict the outcome of the Halo 4 campaign.- it will end in master chief with who ever survives heading to a halo ring to destroy it!

 

MATCHMAKING

1) Predict the weapons that will be available.-Def the BR its a fact!!!, Assault rifle, pistol, sniper , lock on rockets!

 

2) Predict the Armors that will be available.- of course mark IV, mark 3, 2 , an 1! 

 

3) Predict the ranking system that will be used.-i think the system they used in halo 2 an halo 3!

 

4) Predict types of maps that we will fight on (Example: Urban, Jungle, Forest, Water, Space) and offer a brief description of each.- CONFIRMED zanzibar, maybe remastered lockout, i think its going to be halo ce-reach remade maps not all but community favorites!

 

5) Predict the style of Firefight, if it continues, that will be available.- def the flood an maybe the sentinels will be added to firefight! Also u can play as them! 

 

6) Predict the Forge environments (base maps), forge materials (structures, objects, environmental elements) and what game types will be able to be forged.- CONFIRMED FACTS! Forge 2.0 is amazing! Not sure if its forge 2.0 lol!

I will begin with campaign and update my thoughts on multiplayer at a later date. Enjoy!!

 

Campaign

 

1) Predict the story line of the Campaign. - There will be two aspects of the campaign - main story arc and side story.

1. Main story arc - The Campaign story will be Master Chief and Cortana's battle against time to find the remaining Halo rings and deactivate them to prevent the total destruction of the universe. Having landed on the shield world, Chief and Cortana will discover information regarding the rings' locations and also discover that they are not alone in the search to find the rings. Faber (Forerunner Warrior-Servant), Gravemind and the Flood, and the 'Timeless One' (last remaining Precursor) will all be searching for the Halo installations with their own purpose of use.
   
2. Side story - Cortana's state of rampancy. Cortana's condition is growing increasingly dangerous having being subjected to so much Forerunner information. However, they will discover that within this information is the "blueprints" of the Forerunner monitors and their ability to postpone rampancy by 100's of thousands of years. This will be the key to Cortana's continued survival. I believe her main AI personality will be installed into a terminated montior's shell while a clone AI will be used in Chief's armor.
   

2) Predict the enemy, or enemies that you will encounter. Enemies will change throughout the campaign as new information is discovered by the characters.

1. Original Gravemind from the Forerunner/Human war. (The first evolved Gravemind after the humans discovered the "dust" that was later to become the Flood.
   
2. Faber and a few of his warrior servants. (The human-like chacter with telepathic abilities in the first leaked video. As we know, Forerunners are similar in build and size as humans with a few aesthetic differences.)
   
3. Timeless One (Precursor that escaped inprisonment on Charum Hakkor)
   

3) Predict the human and/or non human friendlies, if any, you think will either fight along side the Master Chief. As with enemies, Allies will also change as the story progresses but a few will remain the same.

1. Humans (of course) - Cortana's distress beacon will be heard by human forces (particularly ONI and the UNSC) They will come to aid Chief and Cortana on the Forerunner shield world. Main chacters will include Dr. Halsey, Spartan II's and IV's, AI "BB", Osman, and Devereaux.
   
2. Sangheili - Arbiter and 'Telcam, Elites will be in a state of civil war but will be unified by the Arbiter.
   
3. San 'Shyuum - a few of the younger generation that will become prophets.
   
4. Mendicant Bias - shards of his remains still scattered throughout the galaxy. His insight of the Flood and Forerunners will contribute to Cortana's process of longevity.
   
5. Flood forces - after a reveal of the true threat to the galaxy, the Flood will join in the fight after the defeat of the Gravemind and Cortana's discovery of how to control them.
   

4) Predict Cortana's type of break down and whether or not she survives. Cortana's breakdown will begin mild at first, but will continue to clone herself to postpone the rampancy until she is "uploaded" into a terminated monitor's shell.

 

5) Predict the outcome of the Halo 4 Campaign. The Halo 4 campaign will be longer than previous Halo's with 343i's attempt to connect the player with the emotions of Master Chief and Cortana. It will end in a battle with Faber (determined to activate the Halos) who narrowly escapes Chief on one of the remaining Halo installations or the highly damaged 'Ark', This battle will also reveal the 'Timeless One' as the "True" threat with his purpose and plans for the installations being more twisted by wanting to bring back the dead Precursors, using the Halos as a method of resurrecting those Precursors.

• recently finished a halo novel called Halo: Grass lands( which takes place after the events of halo 3, 2553) and to say what I need to say shortly, There might be a possibility you fight elites, there's a civil war within the elites, half want to be allied with the humans(arbiter half) and others who want to kill all of humanity.
   
  meanwhile there is this prototype U.N.S.C. ship call the infinity. which has extraordinarily advanced technology on it (forruner in origin) it also has Spartan ivs on it, which is largely unknown, not much is known on it, I do know that they take adults now, not kidnapping six year olds. Some of the Spartan ivs are spartan ll survivors from the battle of onyx. (spatan ll= Kelly, Fred, Linda, Naomi) spartan llls= Ash, Lucy,Tom, and I think one other. The U.N.S.C. has also gotten their hands on some engineers from direct forrunner decent. it would make sense with the infinty and spartan ivs. the remaning spartan lls think john(mc) is dead, and are called to go investigate a weird part of the universe (where john lands in the teaser) they extract john via infinity, and that's all that I was capable to peice together
   
  tl;dr, forruners might be in halo 4, might fight elites, spartan 4s confirmed, Spartan lls/llls might be in game. and new ship that might play major role.
