Since the announcement of the Xbox Series S, one of the questions about Microsoft's cheaper, less-powerful console has been how it will handle next-generation games. Dirt 5 doesn't entirely fit that bill, but its latest snippet of gameplay is the first footage from the Series S.

The footage itself isn't all that exciting, showing off a cramped course with lots of brown walls and dimly let tunnels. Dirt 5 will support up to 120 FPS on the Xbox Series X, but developer Codemasters has not yet confirmed if that's the case for the Series S too. Both consoles, equipped with HDMI 2.1, will support higher frame rates, with the Series X targeting 4K resolutions while the Series S limits that to 1440p.
