343iBot
Summer is over and fall is falling, which means it's time for Animal Crossing: New Horizons to bring its autumn update. The free update is coming next week, September 30, and will add spooky Halloween-themed costumes and decorations among other items. You'll be able to buy costumes from the Able Sisters and stock up on candy at Nook's Cranny throughout October. You can trade your Nook Miles for body paint designs, and then on Halloween night all of your animal friends will be wearing costumes of their own. There will also be a Halloween party on October 31 after 5 PM in your town plaza, with a visit from Jack, the "czar of Halloween." Giving him candy will grant you special rewards. The creepy-crawly holiday is the main attraction, but the update will also add other fall-themed items. You can plant pumpkins, and find acorns and pinecones falling from trees for new DIY recipes. Plus the update will let you revisit dreams more easily, and a NookLink update will let you use your smart device to perform in-game reactions.
