But the latest story trailer for Ubisoft's open-world adventure starts bringing into focus the true nature of the invasion of England. The trailer centers on protagonist Eivor (portrayed in the trailer as male, though players will be able to select a female Eivor for their playthrough) and Sigurd, with the latter acting as a key figure that introduces the idea of pushing into England. Sigurd also seemingly brings along members of the Assassin Order, who suggest that there's more to be found in England than just a new home The trailer sets the tone for the conflict the game will host, but also gives you a great look at some of the picturesque areas you will explore. That includes kingdoms ruled by King Alfred of Wessex and the sons of Ragnar Lothbrok. Each of these areas look to have their own distinct styling according to their rule, which should make for varied exploration around the map.
