343iBot
Borderlands 3 has a new patch, and it's a big one. The update adds support for the game's new add-on, Designer's Cut, which features a new PvE battle royale mode called Arms Race, as well as fourth skill trees of each of the game's characters. The changes will be live on all platforms by 12PM PT. https://t.co/IdxesHWPE2 pic.twitter.com/2RxeOY2WGu — Borderlands 3 (@Borderlands) November 9, 2020 The patch also adds Mayhem 11, which increases the maximum level of the game's Mayhem difficulty multiplier to 11. According to the patch notes, Mayhem 11 is just Mayhem 10 without any active modifiers, and it also cuts the quality and quantity of rewards from world drops by half. Therefore, Mayhem 11 is an option for players who would prefer to obtain loot more slowly with none of Mayhem 10's modifiers. This update also makes several large changes to Zane's Skill Trees, designed to balance their options a bit more, as well as reduce the reliance on one specific class mod. Zane players must save and quit once to have their skill trees updated to the new layouts. Skill points that were in swapped skills will be refunded.
