343iBot Posted November 9, 2020 Report Share Posted November 9, 2020 Devil May Cry 5 Special Edition is coming to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X / Series S when they fully release later this week on November 12 and November 10 respectively, and there's a snazzy new launch trailer that shows off some of the action. As DMC fans well know, this next-gen Special Edition of the game will have additional content that features Dante's brother Vergil as a playable character. Capcom recently announced that DMC5's Vergil DLC will come to the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the game at a later date, though many of the next-gen features that Capcom has added to the Special Edition won't be present. Those improvements include ray-tracing and an optional 120 FPS mode, as well as new Turbo and Legendary Dark Knight Modes. The Xbox Series S version of the game will not have ray-tracing, however. PC players will also not have access to those new modes, though they can purchase the Vergil DLC for $5 when it eventually comes to that platform.
