The publisher confirmed as part of the wider next-gen announcements about FIFA 21 that the game's standalone PS5 and Xbox Series X|S edition will carry a premium price tag of $70 USD. To be very clear, this is the standalone next-gen version of FIFA 21 aimed at people who have picked up a PS5 or Xbox Series X|S but didn't own a previous-gen console. It's more than likely that you can get FIFA 21's next-gen enhancements without spending that much money. For people who already bought FIFA 21 on PS4 or Xbox One, they can upgrade to the next-gen edition for free until FIFA 22 launches in 2021. All progress from the FUT Club and Volta modes carry forward to the next-gen edition.
