Who thinks that there should have been a firefight mode where you fight flood and covanent in a three-way battle?

You should have been able to choos to fight the flood or the Covanent. Maybe not both at the same time, but one or the other.

Yes but it would be quite hectic. Although it would be good, it would keep us on our toes, switching tactics to take down different enemies, and even retreating to let the flood handle a few covenant stargglers, then going in after there weakened and wiping them out!!!

On Halo 4's Spartan Op's, 3 way battles occur quite often. You will go in to fight off covenant, then the prometheans will enter the fray.

Also, different flood forms, like combat + infection forms.

Flood pretty much stopped existing after Halo 3

This would be amazing, with what they did with Warzone firefight I see no reason they can't do it in future halos
