xxvassillixx
So here is my issue. I used to be able to connect to a friend of mine at my old place. Now I am at a different location and a different connection and I cannot connect. He has a wireless setup on his Slim but it's dual band his xbox is the only thing running on the 2.4 signal and his nat is open. Since I made a change I am led to believe that the problem is on my end. I tried doing everything, even bypassing my router entirely and plugging my box directly into the wall, NAT still open and still unable to connect to friend. Is it possible that something changed on my Xbox that would cause it to be so hormonal?

Twinreaper
I will be glad to help you out vass. First thing though, I require a little more information on exactly how each of your netwoorks are setup. For instance, you say that your friend has a dual band setup. This alone can mean many different things. I can only assume though, you mean his router is hosting a B/G/N or B/G or G/N type of signal. In any case, I need to know where you are located now, where your friend is, and very detailed information on how the networks are setup....and also if or any of you have ports forwarded, 3rd party firewall software etc.
One
Have you tried resetting your xbox network settings, or using a cable.
