Spectral Jester
Additional details on Resident Evil 6 have come to light, revealing some interesting story info, as well as a 2013 setting and confirmation that the game will allow you to run and shoot at the same time. Here’s what we already know: Resi 6’s zombies will be infected with something other than the T-Virus and will be joined by a fearsome monster called “J'avo.” Leon Kennedy’s storyline unfolds following the US President’s transformation into a zombie, the result of a bioterrorist attack. His mission whisks him off to a US town called Tall Oaks with a character called Helena Harper, a member of the President's security detail. Meanwhile, Chris Redfield is in China investigating a different bioterrorism case. Redfield and Kennedy’s stories will unfold separately. Here’s the new stuff: Before the events of the game, Redfield went through a personal trauma, but decided to team up with the BSAA again anyway, to help combat the ongoing crisis. His Chinese adventures take place in a fictional town called Lanshiang. Furthermore, the zombie President dude is Adam Benford, the chap who - while working as a Secret Service agent - hired Leon Kennedy following the Raccoon City incident. Joining Redfield and Kennedy is a mysterious third protagonist. He's a mercenary engaged in a bloody conflict in Eastern Europe where reports confirm that B.O.W.s are increasingly being used. He's more interested in making money than saving the world. Field Operations Support agent Ingrid Hunningan also returns, following her last appearance in Resi 4. The enemies sound a bit more badass than before too. Your average zombie will now run and jump at you and can also use weapons. The “J’avo,” meanwhile, apparently displays increased intelligence and is “incredibly aggressive”. It can also regenerate and mutate injured body parts. To help cope with these newly-skilled enemies, you will be able to move while shooting. You can also slide, roll, take cover and execute a greater range of melee attacks than in previous entires to the series. That’s a more action-orientated direction confirmed then
