The first species of the Covenant to make contact with humans were Brutes according to Contact Harvest.
Bobo Magroto
DYK On November 2552, The ''United Nations Space Command Emergency Priority Order 098831A-1'' aka 'The Cole Protocol' which was originally use to protect Earth from the Covenant was still in use even after Earth was discovered. Because during the months from November 2552 to the closing days in March 2553, there were still more colonies out there that needed protection
Zaguroth
False, True, True. The first species of the Covenant to make contact with humans were Brutes according to Contact Harvest. No actually Dan, I'm pretty sure the Unggoy (grunts) were the first to come in contact with humans. The deacon aboard the kig-yar ship in the beginning when they attack the freighter, if I'm correct, had first contact with the ships captain. If it wasn't Unggoy then it was the Kig-Yar whp shot him. Edit: Read the part of the book for confirmation, it was indeed the Deacon (the grunt) of the Kig-Yar ship that came into contact with the human first, and the Huragok (engineer) killed the human. SixWaysToSunday
Yo can flip an Elephant?!? But of course! You need to spend more time in forge mode my friend Are you aware that the Halo3 BR has several glitches, one of which causes the 3rd shot of the burst to go off on a random vector? Bungie was unable to fix it, much to the detriment of MLG pros and hardcore players.
The Director
Are you aware that the Halo3 BR has several glitches, one of which causes the 3rd shot of the burst to go off on a random vector? Bungie was unable to fix it, much to the detriment of MLG pros and hardcore players. Actually, Bungie claims that the third shot going off on a random vector (which isn't really that random, it has a very low chance of landing inside the reticle, and a very high chance of landing just outside of the reticle) was a planned decision that they included to help balance the BR. DYK that one of the glitches in Halo 3 is the "Reload Glitch", which was widely used until they patched it. The reload mechanic made it to where players could not fire certain weapons (with the exclusion of the shotgun) while they were reloading. However, players could cut the time it took to reload and thereby fire again by switching weapons back and forth quickly about halfway through the animation (just before the magazine entered the weapon).
