Ive seen a quite big number of server hackers in Halo Reach online gameplay. Lets put a stop to it.

And besides, hackers and cheat engines are starting to develop software to avoid detection. so players on the inside that have the ability to report/ban them instantly, the job would be a lot easier and quicker. And it also leads to a system of abuse. You know the Gestapo and the KGB were founded on the same principle, right? Also, please define server hackers. What exactly are these hacks doing?

Personally I have no desire whatsoever to see anyone that is not part 343 Studios have any ability to ban, suspend or otherwise alter another players ability to play the game. It is there responsibility and there's alone. Short of tampering with the system yourself, there is no way for anyone, a fellow player that is, to discern for an absolute fact whether or not a player is cheating, hacking or using modified content. I have heard countless players make note of other players cheating when it did not appear so to me or others.

 

It is simple, I trust 343i to apply the bans. I do not trust you or any other players to have that ability. Sorry.

ooooohhhh no I`m sorry I typed the original message wrong. What I meant was a clan OF 343 employees. Sorry my mistake.

And The Inheritor, I mean hacking as in stuff I`ve seen like my friend, 3 times in alpha zombies, was infected by the same guy every time. Normaly, there`d be nothing wrong with that, except the fact that he could sword lunge from about... well, we were playing on countdown and my friend was at one of the vents, and the zombie was at the other end, across the bridge, at the other vent. He didn`t even take a step, and he sword lunged, through the wall too, and killed him. The way it happened couldn`t have been lag either. And also numerous times, I`ve seen players in game types like SWAT had head aim lock. It`s pretty easy to tell.

It sounds a lot like lag. And people who play SWAT a lot like myself naturally get very very good at always getting headshots.

ok you guys have proved your points, but i still think a little extra security wouldnt hurt. And god, resently the infection servers have been laging SO much 343 needs to fix all the lag...
