Spectral Jester
Several key members of the Lionhead staff behind the Fable franchise and the co-founders of Big Blue Box - which was subsequently sold to Microsoft and Lionhead - have departed the Fable developer to form their own studio called Another Place Productions. Fable creators and Blue Box co-founders Dene and Simon Carter will head up Another Place Productions, bringing on board veteran Lionhead devs including Fable Art Director John McCormack, Technical Director Guillaume Portes and Executive Producer Jeremie Texier. All are founding members of the new studio. Another Place Productions aims to "create high-quality, meaningful experiences that will inspire audiences worldwide", focusing on digital platforms including the Xbox Live Arcade. Meanwhile, Lionhead continues work on its first Kinect title, Fable: The Journey, which is scheduled for release later this year
gone
Lionhead was one of my favorite game developers for a period of time, I even considered applying for a job in the future. But as time went by their games slowly lost potential and quality. It's sad really, I remember Fable 1 and Black & White was one of my all time favorites games, they were revolutionary for their time. They really need to up their game if they want to progress as developers.
