One Posted March 2, 2012 Report Share Posted March 2, 2012 After noticing that when new members join or idiots spam it up the chatbox, it just deteriorates into drivel. So I thought of an idea, kind of like an IRC, why not implement a channel system for different groups? Instead of 1 main chat channel, how about ones for members past a certain post or join date, or even just reputation. One Posted March 3, 2012 Author Report Share Posted March 3, 2012 The whole idea of this wasn't to stop integration of the community, but rather have a place for chats without interruption. Lets say some new member has joined, and asks about halo 4, complains about Halo Reach while some other members are chatting, that new member has dissolved the conversation and led the chatbox into a tangent of halo. But what if the members chatting could just, move the conversation into another channel of the chatbox? So the idea of this was just for people who get drowned out in the chat and for enjoyment.
