Herodanny
Here's a link to the video in case you have not seen it. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r-u9ZDFs180&feature=share I just want to say that I am a beloved halo fan, therefore I have high standards for halo 4. Unfortunately I believe I may have to lower my expectations for halo 4 after seeing this trailer. I will explain why, But first I want to say to everyone, this is a discussion not an argument everything I say is subjective and it my opinion, please if you defer on any of my views please talk about it in a fitting manner. I will respect your views if you respect mine. Now back to it, I want to point out things I've noticed about this video in a short shopping list manner. -Sprint -Jump Height -BR -Maps -Armor -sound effects So here is how I analyze it. Sprint- I personally don't like sprint I think it adds a feat to the game that doesn't really fit with a halo style, But if it is JUST Sprint and NO other armor abilities then I can deal with it, however this does make me scared that 343 may possibly add other armor abilities into the game. Jump Height- I noticed in the game that spartans were jumping fairly high, which means they returned the jump height to how it was in halo 3. I couldn't tell if the spartan took fall damage when he hit the ground, but let's hope to god he didn't cause I did not like fall damage. BR- BR IS BACK, At first look I didn't like it too much, (the new look of the BR) but now I think about it, I am quite content with the BR it looks like it will be a good reliable gun. Maps- Custom made maps by 343, no cutting corners like bungie did. Let's hope the release some good forge abilities with the game! Armor- The new master chief armor I am not a big fan of, but I am glad to say It is a huge improvement from the Reach armor, the spartan stands up tall and looks strong, also the armor looks pretty nice on the spartan I would love to make some machinima's about it. I am just sad that the Mark VI armor is no longer Chief's main armor Sound effects- 343 really did an amazing job creating the sound effects for the game, sound effects seem realistic enough and will be a nice addition to the game. Overall, I am glad to say this trailer does give me hope, such improvements from reach makes me happy, 343 also seems very devoted to halo 4, and I hope that they will be able to continue such a great job with the game. It's nice to have a developer who actually cares about the game they are creating unlike bungie with halo reach. I am sad that 343 has fallen victim to some of halo reach's stupid gimmicks, I am praying that they don't keep to much of reach in halo 4 because that would really suck
CandiBunni
Some of Reach's "stupid gimmicks"? Just because you saw sprinting? I personally don't see the big deal with sprinting. "It allows players to run away from a fight!" Well would you want to stay out in danger, knowing you're likely to die, or get to cover so that you're not staring at the respawn counter? You tell me. You do know that you can sprint after them, right? Just because someone sprints away doesn't mean you're incapable of shooting them or chasing after them. Someone sprints away. Boo hoo, now you have to go after them and finish them off. Sprinting also allows you to get around the map quicker and get closer to the action, it's not just something that may or may not negatively impact the game.

Herodanny
Well I am not completely against sprint, I am scared because the graphics kind of look like reach in a way. Bungie with halo reach changed a lot of things, if 343 changes everything back it would be surprising. If we have sprint, there may be a good chance that there will be jet pack, armor lock, etc. Sprint is a decent tactical addition to halo 4, but I don't deem it necessary. Halo 2 was very fast paced and it didn't have sprint.

A good chance other AAs are in there because sprint is? Sprinting is something that a lot of FPSs have and have had for quite some time. Even before Halo there was sprinting in FPSs. One feature that as in one game being in another does not mean that others are likely to be included as well.

You have to understand, for the last 5 years I have been getting disappointed from every halo game, when Reach released 2 years ago I nearly gave up all hope, I guess I am remaining open minded (or pessimistic) to the idea of halo reach (the biggest disappointment so far) from influencing 343 and halo 4. Yeah it's annoying that someone got away and is still alive, but there is so much uncertainty right around that corner. Sprint gives people the ability to live when they shouldn't have, which can be both good and bad.

CandiBunni
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rPRXqhFXKX4 What did I say? STRONG Evidence for AA's. Strong evidence of armour abilities? Someone sprinting? Did you see any icon on their hud for the sprinting ability? Nope. That video does not provide any evidence of armour abilities. That device on his back could simply be the sprint feature, or couls simply be a part of his armour. We don't know yet, so it's best if you and others didn't go around spouting off about what none of us have any real clue about. Besides, even if they are in the game, it doesn't mean they'll function exactly like in Halo: Reach.
TerribleTimbo
I couldn't help but facepalm when the guy said that halo is going to have a point type scoring similar to COD....literally every fps ever has had point scoring haha. And as mystic has said, if in fact armor abilities like we know them return (hasn't been confirmed outside of sprint) they may not operate the same way and could have actually undergone changes for the better. Plus, based off of the ridiculously short and jumbled up gameplay clips, I didn't really notice a huge change in speed when the player was sprinting. I'm almost thinking that it may just be a type of animation that goes into affect when moving straight and not making a sharp turn that would "break" someones run. I also don't recall ever seeing someone else sprint in the video but I may be wrong.

Right away, I checked around for a "sprinting Circle" on the HUD but didn't see one, I thought the light on his back was just in the decal with the armor. Hopefully that is all that it is. As for armor abilities not operating the same way, I mean... Well... I guess we can just stay optimistic. Yeah... That's what we will do.
