The Electronic Software Ratings Board has rated Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. There have been rumors swirling around the internet over the past few days regarding a standalone expansion, and so this Director's Cut most likely could contain something similar to this rumor.

PlayStation and Sucker Punch haven't made any official announcements yet, but this rating suggests that a reveal might be on the horizon. What's interesting to highlight is that Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut is coming to both PS4 and PS5. Back during Summer Game Fest, Hideo Kojima announced Death Stranding: Director's Cut as a PS5 exclusive, so it looks like PlayStation isn't ready to let go of the massive PS4 userbase just yet with Ghost of Tsushima.

Ghost of Tsushima is backwards compatible with PS5. Playing on the new system affords a variety of performance enhancements such as allowing up to 60fps and faster loading times (which were already impressive on PS4). You can read our Ghost of Tsushima review as well, with Edmond Tran saying, "Ghost of Tsushima is at its best when you're riding your horse and taking in the beautiful world on your own terms, armed with a sword and a screenshot button, allowing the environmental cues and your own curiosity to guide you."

In related news, John Wick's Chad Stahelski is currently directing a Ghost of Tsushima movie with Sucker Punch in the executive producer role.
