Destroyaaa
I bought the 4 GB xbox 360 over a year ago so I can have an xbox for college and my brother would keep our other one at home. This thing is just the worst and I recently found out why its even worse than I imagined. Halo reach was the first game I played on this new xbox and I immediately found out why this xbox was terrible. Without a harddrive I could not do the following- - Co-op campaign online - Firefight Co-op online -Save any data (recent maps, gametypes, films) - View any films in theater - Put anything on my fileshare They now allow you to play co-op and firefight online but the other things I still cannot do. Just the other day I ordered a copy of halo 2 in the mail to play xbconnect with some friends. I put the game in and it said that I require a harddrive in order to play xbox original games. Really? Lᴜᴋᴇ
This is true, and was found out soon after the launch of the 4GB. It's just unfortunate, and something you will have to live with until you upgrade.

Really? they have a memory drive i have the 2GB slim elite and there is no hard drive because i mainly just play halo .. and need for speed hot pursuit .. it saved it well and by the way ... go by a flash drive lol i bought a 8GB flash drive from walmart 8 bucks and u can save your forge maps and anything you want .. just restart xbox and when u load up halo click on USB storage device.. WAY better and WAY Cheaper.. then spending almost 100 bucks for a hard drive for an xbox unless u play 10932547235 games
fzdw11
Got the 4 GB slim + a 250GB HDD two christmas' ago, right when the kinect was coming out, so they took all of the normal 250GB XBox's off the shelves. Not pleased at the extra $20 I had to pay for both items instead of just the one, but in the end it works. Plus I have more than enough storage to download all the games onto the drive, keep the discs nice and new. But I'd never get just the 4GB alone, it's a waste that you can't do much with. fzdw11
go to amazon.com they sell generic xbox hard drives cheap 120GB for 60 bucks .. Amazon is great for getting things cheaply. But, for $120 I got the 250GB, double the price, slightly more than double the storage. Win for me. If I need another HDD for any reason though, Amazon is the way to go. Right now, the 250GB is less than $90 on there. A 320GB is less than $110.

italus
I use a flash drive but how can you save things in reach? It still doesnt let me. When loading up reach it will ask you what storage device you want click the USB .. and it must also be configured for the xbox by going to system settings storage clicking on the USB
Anonymousnorris
Isn't there an option to use a cloud instead of the hard drive?
DerpWithAGun
This is the reason why I hacked my 4gb console to accept the 25gb from the xbox 360 fat.

Veer Zamamai
Yeah, this is why I hate the 4 GB Xbox, it is so garbage. The 250 GB Xbox is the greatest Xbox.

realitykid
I bought a 4GB 360 because it was cheaper than the PS3. Otherwise, I'd probably have spent my money on the PS3 so that I could have free online. However, I currently use a 60GB drive in my 360 (which the wireless in it quit working so I am waiting for it to return from being repaired) that I bought used at a GameStop. It technically isn't supposed to be used in the 360 S, but it can be. You just have to open up the casing for the drive and take the actual drive out of the casing and insert it inside the 360 S. You can probably find information about this on Google. Not sure if this voids warranty though. It didn't void mine, but I also didn't leave the drive in my 360 when I shipped it out for repairs. Bighungry2x
Wow, that sucks. I use the Reach slim and I love it. I have no troubles at all.
DaveAtStateFarm
I don't even understand why they even made the 4GB, maybe for little kids to feature the Kinect etc, But seriously! I'm sorry to hear about your problem, go to gamestop or Best buy, they might have a spare harddrive.
