Head of Creative on Halo Infinite, Joseph Staten, said that the ongoing challenges presented by the coronavirus pandemic put a strain on development, causing the team to push campaign co-op back. "Unfortunately, as we focused the team for shutdown and really focused on a quality experience at launch, we made the really tough decision to delay campaign co-op for launch," Staten said.
