Halo 4 multiplayer character options

In other halo games we the players have been given the option to play as a spartan or an elite but in halo 4 I think that should change. There should be 2 options one UNSC and the other THE COVENANT. The unsc one would contain 3 options spartan, marine and odst and the other elite, brute and grunt if you agree to this reply and say what you have to say. PS: I really hope that we can also play as Forerunners.

nah, i don't think that's a good idea, if anything, we should all be kept as spartan and only have elite options for certain gametypes, so basically like reach, i like the reach system.

I would love to be a forerunner, and of course they had different armor types so if we where to play as them, playing as a Warrior Servant maybe be too extreme. Being an Elite would also be very fun again, in Halo 3 Elites always seemed to be the center of fire, but it was fun to switch sides and run around looking like a hunch back dinosaur. But I find being a marine or grunt would be too week, but an ODST, that would be a cool option for higher ranked players looking for a larger challenge.

No i don't think this would work, a Spartan, has shields, a marine weakest UNSC with (barely armor) ODST more armor but same as marine basically.

 

Same for the Covenant side, it doesn't seem right or look right, and disrupts the balance.

Nope. Marines are too weak to be even considered a opponent. Same with Grunts. ODST's would be for Higher rankers that want even more of a challenge. Brutes would not work with their rage stuff. For now, Spartans, Elites and ODST's should be the only ones playable.
