Possible Halo 4 and RvB Correlation?

My Theory on how the RvB (red vs blue for those of you that dont know) story line and the Halo 4 story line could possibly be connected:

 

 

First off, i would like to state that 343i and RT (the company behind red vs blue) have a very big relationship, which furthers my theory. Now.. back OT.

 

 

During the animated shorts of Halo: Origins, it is implied that Cortana had gone rampant or close to the end of her life while she and Chief were adrift (evidenced by glitchy eyes and discoloration)

. For those of you who are unaware, "Smart" AI's, those capable of learning outside of their areas of expertise, only have an effective life of 7 years. After that, they will either think themselves to death, or believe themselves to be above their human companions and become rampant. Given that this game is set in 2557 and she was made in 2549, she will either be rampant or dead in halo 4 but my problem with this is Cortana is a very iconic figure in Halo and i dont think she would be killed off just like that in the first game of the new trilogy.

 

 

As most of us know from playing Halo 2, Cortana was tortured immensely by the Gravemind. and for those of us that actually watch RvB, the Alpha was also tortured immensely by Dr. Church, who is the director of the freelancer program. now after the Alpha was tortured by the Director, it fractured its self to protect its self, and split its self into different segments/AI. Do you think that, possibly, Cortana has done the same? or will do the same thing throughout the new trilogy? i just find it would be weird playing Halo with MC and without Cortana, so maybe when she dies we will play with a fragment of her? kind of like an Epsilon-Cortana kind of AI? Also, as a side note, Burnie (the creator of Red Vs Blue) confirmed that in the RvB Universe, Dr. Church worked with/under Dr. Halsey at some point, and for those of you that dont know, The Alpha was based off of Dr. Church and Cortana was based off of Dr. Halsey.

Since Cortana herself is going rampant, there is a possibility that Cortana may fragment her personality traits into seperate A.I.s just like Alpha did.

 

now im not saying that the Stories will really be connected, im saying that the storys might have some type of relation. Alpha fragmented its personality traits into different A.I.s due to being tortured and possible rampancy. Cortana has been tortured, as i stated earlier, and is going rampant, so there is a possibility she might do the same.

 

but then again this might be a huge stretch, but its just an idea..

 

I would love to see RvB and Halo 4 be connected, especially since RT and RvB have been a huge supporter of Halo since 2003..

im not saying that they will be connected. im saying that Alphas fate was being fragmented into seperate A.I.s due to possible rampancy and torture. Cortana is also going rampant and was tortured by the gravemind, so there is a possibility her fate could parallel his
