There's a lot of new Pokemon on the way, with Pokemon Legends: Arceus set to release in January and remakes Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl coming in November. The Pokemon Company and Nintendo are now sharing new trailers and details for each game, and they include a new Ghost form for a popular Gen-V pocket monster.

The dark-type fox Pokemon Zorua and its evolution Zoroark are undergoing a bit of a makeover for their appearance in the not-quite open world Pokemon Legends: Arceus. As it turns out, the Zorua and Zoroark that migrated to the Hisuian region where the game takes place all died, and have been reborn as ghost/normal-types "using the power of spite." The creatures are known to create mimicries and illusions, striking fear into those who encounter them out in the wild.

Fans can also get a new look at some of the various characters they'll be encountering in Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, ranging from gym leaders like Candice and her Abomasnow, to Cyrus--the mysterious rule of the game's villainous Team Galactic--and his Weavile.

Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl release on November 19 for Nintendo Switch, with Pokemon Legends: Arceus coming on January 28, 2022. A commemorative Pokemon GO event will take place to celebrate the launch of both games.

Those who preorder Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl will receive a Platinum Style outfit and a Manaphy Egg for use in-game, while those who preorder Pokemon Legends: Arceus will receive a Hisuian Growlithe Kimono set.
