As posted by Twitter account PlayStation Game Size, the PS5 version of Battlefield 2024 will require 42.389 GB in the USA, and a marginally larger 42.717 GB in Europe. The account also notes that the listed file sizes are without a scheduled day one patch, which could push the file size up a bit, but even then the size is quite reasonable for a game on Battlefield 2024's scale. The leak also included pre-load details for PS5 players, saying that players with the standard version will be able to start pre-loading on November 17 for the November 19 release, while players who have pre-ordered the Gold or Ultimate edition will be able to start pre-loading on November 10 for a November 12 release. While only confirmed for the PS5, these dates will presumably be the same across all platforms.
