The Xbox Mini Fridge is a real thing, and people are so excited for what was originally a joke that they bought Target's preorder supply almost instantly. The fridge arrives in December, and its manufacturer has released an unboxing video showing exactly what to expect.

The video from Ukonic--Microsoft, as it turns out, doesn't actually make its own fridges--features Ukonic VP John Frazier taking the Xbox Mini Fridge out of its packaging and showing off the accessories included. They're minimal, only consisting of AC and DC adapters as well as the manual, but you'll also want to make sure you pay attention to the box itself. If you ordered one, you can scan a QR code to register the fridge for a short warranty.

At first glance, aside from the size difference, you can tell it's a fridge rather than the console because of a small grip on the left side. Both the disc ejection button and the power button from the real console are functional, albeit to turn on two different sets of lights. The actual power switch is on the back, and there is a green light on the top to mimick the green plastic of the real system. However, this is also where the ventilation is, so you shouldn't stack anything on top of the Xbox Mini Fridge, such as the real Xbox and also a tiny American Girl version. Well, you can, but turn them all off first.

The drink trays inside the fridge are removable, so you can stack taller drinks if you don't want to limit it to regular-sized cans. The snack trays can also be removed, though there is little reason to do so.

Though the Xbox Mini Fridge is coming in just a month and more supply will be available in stores, you may not have an Xbox Series X yet. Supply shortages of key parts and high demand for new-gen consoles have made the system hard to find, and the problems continue as Halo Infinite rapidly approaches.
