343iBot Posted November 15, 2021 Report Share Posted November 15, 2021 During its 20th Anniversary Celebration stream, Microsoft has announced a new six-part documentary series detailing the trials and tribulations the software giant faced when bringing a gaming console to the market. Titled Power On, the documentary series will start at the root of the story, with a ragtag team of DirectX engineers trying their best to convince executives at Microsoft that a gaming console was the right move for the company. It was an idea that had a lot of pushback internally, but twenty years later, Microsoft has launched four generations of the Xbox and shows no sign of slowing down.
