Call of Duty: Warzone's new map, Caldera, releases next week with the launch of Warzone Pacific. Ahead of that, Activision has now revealed the map and listed off its 15 different named locations.

The map takes players back to 1944 to fit with its Call of Duty: Vanguard integration. As you can see, it's another big map, roughly similar in size to Verdansk. Some of the points of interest include Docks, Ruins, Mines, and the Power Plant. The Peak location looks like it might be on the top of a volcano, which could offer some exciting gameplay opportunities.

This isn't actually the first time we've seen the Caldera map, as it was first spotted during a livestream event printed on the back of a developer's jacket.

Caldera is Warzone's first brand-new map since the game launched in March 2020, so it is indeed a major shakeup for the popular battle royale game.

It was supposed to arrive on December 1 before Activision delayed it to December 8. Everyone who owns Vanguard will still get a 24-hour headstart to play Warzone's new Caldera map, while everyone can start playing the new Caldera map on December 9.

Recently, The Wall Street Journal published a report about Activision Blizzard CEO Bobby Kotick who is accused of covering up instances of sexual harassment. Hundreds of developers walked in protest and some have called for Kotick to resign.
