343iBot
Microsoft has revealed the selection of games that will be going free-to-play this week for Xbox's Free Play Days feature. The games, which are available for all Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate members, include the first-person action game Chivarly 2, the online multiplayer sandbox game Trailmakers, and the MMORPG Black Desert Online. All three games are available from Thursday, December 9 through Sunday, December 12. Players can start playing the games for free by going to the Microsoft Store, where they must be signed in to see the option to install with their Xbox Live Gold membership. In order to download on their console, players should click on the Subscriptions tab in the Xbox Store and then enter the Gold member area to locate the "Free Play Days" collection. Microsoft is also offering limited-time discounts for each if players wish to buy the full game once the free-to-play period is over. The standard edition of Chivalry 2 will be $27 instead of $40, while Trailmakers is going for $15 as opposed to its $30 retail price. Meanwhile, the Traveler Edition of Black Desert Online will be $12 and the Conqueror Edition will be $40, instead of $100. Last week, the publisher offered up Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, Rims Racing, and Night Call for the first weekend of December to players subscribed to Xbox Live Gold and Xbox Game Pass Ultimate.
