Whoa! Whoa! Whoa! You're not wrong, it definitely would change the gameplay. I don't like Mech shooters, so I'm sure you know my answer to your suggestion.

I've got a question, though. How would they benefit the Halo gameplay? They wouldn't. They'd just needlessly change it, and that's why you won't see Mechs in Halo 4.

as much as i like mech games i don't think it would work well with halo it would change the pace of the game too much, that and there is only one mech i know of in the halo lore and that wouldn't be very balanced to use.

here a link to the mech i was talking about HRUNTING/YGGDRASIL Mark I Prototype Armor Defense System

I see what you mean i just wanted input from people, but i was thinking that it would be rare like a tank so there would be one for each team except it would be strong but still have disadvantages too, plasma pistols, explosives, and you could snipe through the shield part in the front

if its lighty armored and more anti vehicle it could work as long as its not to hard to take out for players on foot but it can't be to easy so its balanced, maybe make it about as maneuverable as a player on foot and make it so a few well placed grenades can mess it up good, maybe it can have a cannon weaker than the scorpion but still effective at taking out vehicles. as long as it's not to overpowered to could work but it still wouldn't feel very much like halo to me at least

Well there were Mech type things in the Halo universe, Cyclops I think they were called. I think that's what they were planning on using for the Spartan I Project, but Halsey created the Spartan II, then III Project. So I'm not sure what they did with them, probably modified them so a regular soldier could use them. That was originally going to be the Spartan's suit, but it was too big so they never used it. These could be put in, but it would change everything so much, I'm not sure if I would be comfortable with it. It doesn't feel like Halo if it was put in, even if it was there already.

oh yeah i forgot about the cyclops the mechs from halo wars, they could put those in but in halo wars at least they were melee units so it probelly wouldn't work to well

Mech's, hmm let me think about this.

Maybe the cyclops but I dont think alot of people are going to be fond of that but if 343 could some how enter a mech with chain guns Its an Ok for me. For me there are much more things in the halo universe to put on my wishlist for halo 4

I think having a mech could change the gameplay and change it up a little, and they could be big like hunter size, with a machine gun and a grenade launcher.

There may end up being some sort of mechanized entity similar to Guilty Spark 343. He did after all, along with his drones, protect the Ring. I look forward to seeing what the Forerunner planet has in store for us, not to mention the Easter Eggs that may be there. One thing I got from 343Ind's. interviews was the desire to reproduce them in the CEA game. Maybe they are on their minds for Halo 4.
