M @ G 0 0
Is it possible for the helmet visor to become shattered if enough force is used? Just asking.
Archangel Tyrael
I suppose so, look at the helmet of Noble 6 it shattered. If you want this for multiplayer just no. Sorry.

DaveAtStateFarm
It's possible, maybe with bullet holes and such. After the shields are drained though.
Lancer
Perhaps. But like Shadow said, after the shields have fallen. But, I don't think they would. We have bullet protective glass now. Imagine what you can have then.

ZB-85
It is possible with enough force applied. A sniper bullet would make a hole and a Energy Sword going through the visor like the end of Reach would do it to.
M @ G 0 0
I also had another question, if say the helmet is damaged can the energy shielding still work or no?
ZB-85
NO. The energy shield control comes from the helmet. So once the helmets gone, then your defense is gone to.
M @ G 0 0
Ok NO. The energy shield control comes from the helmet. So once the helmets gone, then your defense is gone to. What about say from their gloves/arms from extreme damages? then again Kat had a prosthetic arm but maybe since it was inorganic it was tailored to her shields. DaveAtStateFarm
It's not from the helmet I'm sure, Like in Halo 1, the shields come from the back of his armor, you can see the little "battery"
Drizzy_Dan
Yea I wouldn't say it's from the helmets either I'm pretty sure it's just the suit body.
aeRusch117
it does come from the helmet in reach, just not in halo
aeRusch117
Does anybody know if they will ever make mt chief take his helmet off?

Mr. DJ
Remember those lights on the Armour in halo 3? that was the shield generators. It would be mildly easy I think to bust the helmet glass of the helmet with the right things. *cough*killball*cough*
Killer K34
from what i remember about the visor shattering, the helmet is more likely to break then the visor unless directly applied force to the visor. And the shield would still not work without a helmet even though it comes from the body of the suit, skin contact with the plasma shild = BAD
Killer K34
also i dont think the visor is made of glass, but i cant remember what it is made out of???
PuRe PoNy
I also had another question, if say the helmet is damaged can the energy shielding still work or no? Your armors shielding would still work but not on your head, so any part of you which is armored would probably be shielded.
C4nis lupus
Right... I've wondered this for many years... How the f@*% do you pronounce MJOLNIR?!?!
USDevilDog117
Right... I've wondered this for many years... How the f@*% do you pronounce MJOLNIR?!?! Haha I know right? I think it's a possibility they will show chief's face since they were talking about how halo 4 will show more of the person side of John.
