Perhaps. But like Shadow said, after the shields have fallen. But, I don't think they would. We have bullet protective glass now. Imagine what you can have then.

Ah you're right, but plasma and explosions. think about that.

Spartans go through alot.

NO. The energy shield control comes from the helmet. So once the helmets gone, then your defense is gone to.

What about say from their gloves/arms from extreme damages? then again Kat had a prosthetic arm but maybe since it was inorganic it was tailored to her shields.

Remember those lights on the Armour in halo 3? that was the shield generators. It would be mildly easy I think to bust the helmet glass of the helmet with the right things. *cough*killball*cough*

from what i remember about the visor shattering, the helmet is more likely to break then the visor unless directly applied force to the visor. And the shield would still not work without a helmet even though it comes from the body of the suit, skin contact with the plasma shild = BAD

I also had another question, if say the helmet is damaged can the energy shielding still work or no?

Your armors shielding would still work but not on your head, so any part of you which is armored would probably be shielded.

Right... I've wondered this for many years... How the f@*% do you pronounce MJOLNIR?!?!

Haha I know right? I think it's a possibility they will show chief's face since they were talking about how halo 4 will show more of the person side of John.
