Elmore1
I was banned from Halo 3's matchmaking permanently for a first offense that I at the time didn't know was apparently a heinous crime or something... I'm still not even sure of why I was banned by Bungie, but they weren't too responsive to my inquiries or appeals so I'm here hoping the fine fellows at 343i might. Anyway, I've come to ask that, since 343i now controls Halo's online and all that, maybe somebody could look into possibly unbanning me? I've been banned for three years now for a first offense that I'm still unsure of. All I want to do is play some Halo 3 with friends and maybe earn an achievement or two before it inevitably gets shut down... Thank you for your time, Elmore1 (also my Xbox 360 gamertag).
Elmore1
If this isn't 343's website or there is nobody here that could help me, would somebody please direct me toward where I should go? I would appreciate it.
Iиversiσn
First off, welcome to the forums Elmore1 . It's a shame that you were permanently banned for a first offense in Halo 3 matchmaking, I really hope that 343i could peer into your problem. The reason that I think Bungie didn't even take a look at your appeals, is because the term "perma-ban", means never getting un-banned. Now that Halo 3's hay day has come and gone, maybe if you send 343i customer support a well enough constructed message saying what happened and why you should be un-banned they might actually decide to come to terms with you. To find their website -> Into google just type in Halo Waypoint it should be the first link that pops up. Good luck getting your perma-ban appealed. -MaGIIXz
Elmore1
Well yeah I kind-of realized that perma-ban meant banned permanently, but I didn't know they didn't even look at them... I'll try that, thanks for your help and advice.
