Elden Ring may offer a massive open world to explore filled with secrets and discoveries beyond your wildest imagination, but sometimes you just want to beat the hell out of someone in arena combat--and that's where the Colosseums come into play. There are three of these arenas scattered across The Lands Between, and you'll find that different modes are available depending on which one you're visiting. Keep reading if you'd like to know where they can be found and which modes you can play at them, as we've got the full details here.

All Colosseum locations and modes

There are three Colosseums total. To enter a Colosseum, simply walk up to the gargantuan doors of the arena and push them open. You can then approach the pedestal ahead of you to select your gameplay mode(s) and settings.

Limgrave

The first Colosseum you're likely to discover on your journey is located in Limgrave, and it's also the easiest to access. From the Warmaster's Shack site of grace, you can head directly north through the woods into a more open area. The Colosseum is hard to miss once you've emerged here, so waltz on up and open the doors.

Limgrave Colosseum

The Limgrave Colosseum has two modes available.

  • United Combat - Team-based mode where the team with the most kills at the end of a timer wins.
  • Combat Ordeal - Free-for-all mode with respawns where the person with the mode kills at the end of a timer wins.

Caelid

The next Colosseum you should find is located in Caelid. Accessing this one is best done by starting at the Deep Soifra Well site of grace down in the gorge in the upper segment of the biome. You can then head north bypassing two giant archers until you make your way to The Great-Jar, who happens to not like small talk very much. Just head around behind him and open the doors here.

Caelid Colosseum

The Caelid Colosseum has one mode available.

  • Duel - 1v1 duel with no respawns.

Leyndell, Capital City

The last Colosseum you'll probably come across can be found in Leyndell, Capital City. From the West Capital Rampart site of grace, head left out the door and past the descending staircase ahead. Run past the enemies on your left (or fight them) and continue onward underneath the giant Erdtree branches. Follow the stairs up and continue around the side of the cliff to reach the Colosseum and open the doors.

Leyndell Coloseum

The Leyndell Colosseum departs from the other two areans in that it allows you to play all three of the other modes, so it's a great place to go if you just want to switch between encounter types. However, note that all of the modes here are unique in that you're allowed to summon Spirit Ashes during combat.
