Pokémon Black and White 2 will reportedly be out in Japan on June 23, though Nintendo hasn't confirmed when it'll make it over to the western world yet. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tCIfV4GlCwA&feature=player_embedded Pokemon Black And White Getting Special 3DS Compatible Apps Pokemon Black 2 and White 2 are Nintendo DS games, but they can be played on the 3DS. In order to make Pokemon fans feel they didn't upgrade for nothing, Nintendo is releasing a few of 3DS apps that will coordinate with Pokemon Black and White 2.. The first is an augmented reality game that will let you hunt down Pokemon in your living room, capture them, and use them in your game. Following that app, Nintendo has plans to release an updated version of the Pokedex. Nintendo outlined these apps during its Nintendo Direct conference, which covered Japanese software and releases. These haven't been confirmed for North America yet, but there is a good chance we will see US versions around the same time as Pokemon Black and White 2 release. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New Super Mario Bros. 2 revealed for 3DS UPDATE: Confirmed for August release Stateside Nintendo has revealed New Super Mario Bros. 2 for 3DS during its Nintendo Direct live stream today. The game was created specifically as a pick-up-and-play experience that can be instantly enjoyed by players of all skill levels on the Nintendo 3DS system." Update ends. To make the pink puff ball's 20th anniversary, Nintendo will release "special anniversary software disc" for Wii later this year. The firm announced during its Nintendo Direct broadcast that "the disc will contain a variety of previously released, fan-favorite Kirby games," although it stopped short of actually naming the titles that will be included. If the Super Mario 25th Anniversary Edition is anything to go by, expect it to be all retro. "Additional Kirby anniversary activities will be revealed at a later date," Nintendo teased. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ New 3DS firmware adds folders to Home screen Nintendo helps to clean up your clutter 3DS is over a year old now and owners' Home screens are starting to get a little cluttered. Nintendo knows this and it's doing something about it. The firm announced during its Japanese Nintendo Direct broadcast last night that it's preparing a new firmware update that will add folder functionality to the handheld's Home screen. Users will be able to create and name folders that can store up to 60 items each. The new firmware will also add support for software updates, or patches, which we figure is both good and bad news. On the plus side we'll be getting patches to fix bugs, the first of which will be for Mario Kart 7 to fix shortcut exploits (YES!). On the downside, patches are now 'A Thing' on 3DS. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Get more information from http://www.computera...m/homepage.php?
