Atomic_cb
My 13 year old sister got credit banned in halo reach, because she suck at the game. well, 343, bungie dropped the ball on the credit banning problem, and you guys continue to mess it up, just remove the credit ban system all together, at this point, the credit rank system means nothing, we already have hundreds, if not thousands of players at max rank, so what the point anymore, credits offer no in game benefit, and banning player for being bad is just wrong. my sister account is vampire twelve, looking at her game history you can see she actually tries playing. so, 343, fix the ban sytem. Baby Boo
Wait one second. Did I just see you type "banning players for being bad is wrong"? What do you think the point of a ban is?! If you or your sister are being bad in the game and violating terms of use, you should be banned. On the other hand, I could have that quote in the wrong perspective. It could also mean similar to "banning people that are not good at the game Is wrong". If that is the case, then yes, it is wrong to ban a player just because of low skill level, and I'm not sure how or why that'd happen. I'm not sure, bro, I just don't know. Panda
The way the credit ban works is if you're inactive during multiple games you'll be banned from receiving credits. Occasionally a bad player may turn up a false positive for inactivity because they're not able to get kills over multiple games. So it looks like they're just AFK. I don't know how accurate the system is, and if it is able to tell the difference between an actual AFK player and a low skilled player. The Director
There's been several cases of this happening, and not just on Reach either. On Halo 3 the same thing will happen. The reason for this type of ban is simple. There has been players that "afk" and don't play, and it ruins matchmaking for other players. If you've ever been on a team with people who are afk then you know what I mean. The way they determine that these players are afk is by how many kills they get per match. If they tried to detect the level of activity based on map movements, then players would attach rubber bands to their thumbsticks to avoid detection. What you should have done (and maybe still can do) is play a few custom games with your little sister to bring her skill level up before unleashing her on Matchmaking. Halo has a pretty steep learning curve, so it may take a bit, but have her play the campaign on heroic or legendary and play a few custom games with her and she will be able to nab a few kills in no time.
RedStarRocket91
If the credit system doesn't mean anything, what's the problem with getting credit banned? Anyway, I'm actually with you on this. It's shocking that this day and age that people should be punished for not being good at a game which they've paid for. If you're bad you should lose games, and that should be as far as it goes. I despise the idea that just because someone isn't very good at the game, they deserve the humiliation of a penalty as well.
Kurt S-501
I agree with you. The banning system could use some work.

He was referring to skill level by saying "bad." And she just seems as if she is inactive. I would suggest that at the beginning of a match that you get 3 or more kills for her and then let her play. Baby Boo
Yes, I realized doc. The way it was worded just confused me for a second or two.
