343iBot Posted January 11, 2023 Report Share Posted January 11, 2023 Microsoft has confirmed that while Bethesda's Starfield won't appear during the January 25 Developer Direct event, the game has, of course, not been forgotten. In a blog post, Microsoft said it didn't want to shoehorn the big, ambitious game into the January 25 event, so it decided to create an entire event dedicated to that game alone."To dedicate the proper amount of time for a deep dive into Bethesda Game Studios' Starfield, a standalone show is in the works," Microsoft said.Just when this show will air, however, is unknown at this stage. The game is expected to launch in the first half of 2023, following a delay from 2022.The January 25 Developer Direct event focus on The Elder Scrolls Online, the new Forza Motorsport, Minecraft Legends, and Redfall. Viewers can expect details on "big features" as well as new information and gameplay reveals for those titles during the broadcast.
