343iBot
Cyberpunk 2077 now has DLSS 3 support as of today's patch, so those with supported hardware on PC can enjoy higher graphics settings and better performance than previously possible. If your computer harbors a Nvidia RTX 40-series GPU, then the addition of DLSS 3 support is likely a welcome one. With this new setting, you can have "every setting and ray-traced option maxed out for the best image quality," according to a press release, with performance being described as "great" too.Cyberpunk 2077 also has a "psycho mode" ray-tracing setting, which adds ray-traced global illumination, letting sunlight bounce around the world much more realistically, a setting not too many computers will be able to handle. As well as this, the update is laying the groundwork for the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077: Ray Tracing Overdrive Mode update that will enhance things even further.Nvidia announced DLSS 3--which stands for Deep Learning Super Sampling--last year, which will allow games to run at even higher capabilities than they could before. The catch is that it will only work on the RTX 40-series GPUs, so you'll have to get your hands on one if you're hoping to make use of this most recent Cyberpunk update. It is impressive what it can do though, as Nvidia provided an example of the benefits it can add to Cyberpunk when it announced DLSS 3. In a clip the company showed, without DLSS Cyberpunk was running below 22fps. With DLSS 2, it was raised to 66fps, but with DLSS 3 it goes all the way up to 100fps.Other games promised to be supported by DLSS 3 include A Plague Tale: Requiem, Stalker 2, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, with more to come.View the full article
