In the milky way galaxy We have discovered so many races so many fifteenth species and groups. their are about 48 races just in 1 solar system. The forerunners had a lot of enemies its believable. The forerunners currently were in war with humans precursors flood and they fought with their own people. The false part is forerunners take out every single guy of each race. If you read the books the didact takes on à giant fleet with 1 Tiny ship. The forerunners are a race that don't stop till they win. If you aren't proved they built on basicly every part of the universe with beautiful buildings. And they blow up everything besides sentinels.
