A preview of Microsoft's next Windows 11 build reveals new customization options that will allow users to control RGB lighting for their PC gaming accessories.

Spotted by Twitter user Albacore--via The Verge--it looks like Microsoft is planning on integrating brand-new settings for device lighting in a future Windows 11 update. The screenshots provided show a personalization tab with options for controlling brightness, effect speed, lighting effects, and of course changing colors.

Additionally, there's also a toggle for users to "Match my Windows accent color" while specific lighting devices will have an "ambient lighting" toggle. Some PC devices are shown, such as the Stream Deck MK.2, Gaming KB, and Precision Mouse, and each have their own individual personalization options, meaning a user's connected devices can vary in style.

While Microsoft has yet to officially announce the new Windows 11 update, this new native RGB support update would also mean that users won't have to rely on third-party software to customize the lighting of their accessories.

As of January 21, Microsoft is no longer selling customers Windows 10 Home or Pro.
