Archangel Tyrael
Skyrim DLC release date 'maybe next week' Pete Hines is looking into it Bethesda's Pete Hines has suggested Skyrim lovers might finally hear more about the eagerly anticipated DLC next week. "I am working on getting a little more info out on Skyrim/DLC," Hines posted on Twitter. "Maybe next week? We'll see. Also trying to confirm Kinect release date." We're not sure if this is the kind of leading "mayyyyyybe" we got accompanied by a cheeky smile when we asked our parents for a Super Nintendo for our birthday, or the sarcasm laden "huh, yeah, maybe" we got when we asked the rents if they were going to chip in and help out with Uni tuition fees. Either way we're at his mercy. Though Bethesda's been cagey on DLC details, it's believed the new Skyrim content will include 'new quests, locations, features, and much more' and will be exclusive to the Xbox 360 initially. Bethesda has officially confirmed it is working on introducing Kinect functionality for Skyrim. Earlier this month the Elder Scrolls studio said it should be arriving in the last week of April. For those holding their breath, that's the next four days. Hang in there. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Black Ops 2: First 'in-game screens' leak through special effects firm Quadrotor appears in-game Supposed Black Ops 2 in-engine screenshots have appeared online, via the special effects firm that helped create the Quadrotor viral video from earlier this week. The images, which were released - and quickly pulled - by mechanical special effects company Reel EFX, show the Quadrotor device "in-game". Activision previously posted a teaser imageon Call of Duty.com showing the futuristic attack drone, which suggests the new Call of Duty will adopt a near-future setting. "The technology in this baby isn't going to be out there for at least another decade," the presenter of Activision's viral video said of the drone. "Looks like the future's going to be fun. But if you can't wait another 15 years my friends are telling me that this baby might just be in the next Call of Duty game, which would be the sh**." The next Call of Duty game is due to be unveiled on May 1 and is widely tipped to be Black Ops 2. Activision attempted to delete a long list of potential Black Ops 2 multiplayer details from the CoD forums back in March, and further unverified MP details emerged yesterday. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Screens: Bethesda's Dishonored looks brilliant Will this be one of the year's surprise hits? I am most likely going to buy it when it comes out.
